About Me

At first, I was just going to copy and paste my author bio from the Dreamspinner Press website, but then I figured that this site was supposed to be an extension of that. If I was just going to copy and paste everything, what would be the point of having a website?

I'm in my early twenties and live on the East Coast of the US. I like the rain because it gives me the perfect excuse to stay in and write, and I'm about ninety-nine percent sure that coffee is a sweet, sweet gift from the gods. I play mom to a round cat who usually demands all of my attention. When he's not trying to steal my chair or sit on my notebooks, he makes a very good writing partner and curls up on his favorite blanket behind my chair while I work.

When I write, I absolutely have to have music playing in the background -- I just have to. I particularly love movie scores, especially those by Marco Beltrami and Hans Zimmer. I'm also a huge fan of rock music, but have been known to hold pop near and dear to my heart.

I got serious into writing when I was in the sixth grade, though I can admit it was because a friend introduced me to fanfiction. The fandom I was involved with so long ago is rather embarrassing, so I think I'll leave that out, but let's just say it really opened my eyes to how wonderful and fun writing could be. Years went by and fandoms changed, and when I was a young teenager, I (like so many others) was discovering new things about myself. This led to me discovering m/m and f/f romance fiction. As soon as I did I realized, "This is where I want to be." I'm by no means the most amazing writer in the world, and I have a lot to learn -- but I'm having great fun doing it.

If you'd like, for any reason at all, you can contact me. I would absolutely love to hear from you!
